Last night we had a sweet celebration at our house. Our big girl is turning 12. We had the cake, decorations and presents...the whole she-bang. But....technically, she turns 12 on August 31. You see, tomorrow we are leaving for our big family vacation. And since we won't be able to celebrate the way we normally would, we decided that we would throw a Happy "fake" birthday celebration. Goofy, I know...but it works for us. It was a wonderful night and she loved all her presents. So here's to you our big girl...happy "fake" birthday....we love you more than you will ever know.
